Riverty Partners With Adyen for 14-day Invoice Solution

Riverty partners with Adyen to bring its 14-day invoice buy now, pay later (BNPL) payment method to Adyen’s fintech platform

Fintech Riverty has partnered with Adyen and has integrated its 14-day buy now, pay later (BNPL) payment method into Adyen’s platform.

The seamless integration with Adyen can easily be activated by merchants, who can benefit from increased conversion, higher order values, higher consumer loyalty, co-branding capabilities and fast payouts.

The solution is being rolled out in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), to address the needs of merchants, enhancing the overall merchant experience and driving business growth.

Riverty and Adyen: Partnering to deliver merchant success

Indeed, the partnership between Riverty – which is part of Bertelsmann Group – and Adyen offers e-commerce merchants the chance to benefit from faster payouts, improving financial stability while offering consumers reliable payment options at checkout.

Riverty’s VP of Partnerships, Walter Drieenhuizen, says: "Our primary goal is to prioritise the needs of Adyen’s merchants.

“With our reliable 14-day invoice payment solution, we aim to offer an uncluttered checkout process that increases conversions, order values and cultivates consumer loyalty, ultimately driving growth for our merchant partners."

Its deal to partner with Adyen follows a recent flurry of activity at Adyen, which earlier this week partnered with BT Group to offer Tap to Pay on iPhone and revolutionise SMB payments.

And, it’s deal to enhance the BNPL experience merchants offer comes after its partnership with Billie in February 2024 helped to deliver BNPL innovations for businesses too.

Of course, BNPL solutions' popularity among consumers is only rising, particularly amid today’s lingering macroeconomic climate.

Now that Adyen has partnered with Riverty, it can offer merchants BNPL augmentations that prioritise the merchant-customer relationship, particularly via its new option for co-branding capabilities.

By consistently featuring merchants' brands in diverse customer communications such as invoice emails, social media and in-app messages, Riverty can help ensure the merchant's brand stays at the forefront of the customer's experience.

This has a positive impact on enhancing brand recognition and loyalty, and demonstrates how BNPL services can enhance consumer engagement.

Hella Fuhrmann, Country Manager DACH at Adyen, adds: "We are very pleased to enable our merchants to offer a convenient 14-day invoice solution.

"With Riverty, we have a strong partner for this at our side  that has a proven track record in championing merchant interests and fostering consumer trust."
