Top 10: Fintech Events 2024
There have already been some fantastic events in the fintech space this year, with many more on the way throughout the course of 2024.
In this Top 10, we look at the biggest fintech events in 2024 from across the globe.
10. Pay360
Pay360 took place at London’s ExCeL Centre in March 2024. Connecting over 4056 payment professionals and just under 100 exhibitors across the 2-day event. With a mantra of choosing speakers that do not read from a PR script, Pay360 focuses on programming the disagreeable into an agreeable format throughout the 2-day conference, ensuring a structured forum for debate amongst all stakeholders. A strict no gimmicks rule also means Pay360 provides quality and focused sessions, which it believes is the most effective platform for doing business.
9. Dubai Fintech Summit
Dubai Fintech is the leading event space in the region helping pioneer fintech’s future. Aiming to set the global benchmark for the way enterprises and governments approach financial innovation, the event unites fintech leaders and policymakers to help shape the future of fintech.
“The Summit aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33’S strategic goal of propelling Dubai into the ranks of the top four global financial hubs by 2033,” says H.H. Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.
The Dubai Fintech Summit takes place on 6-7 May 2024.
8. IFGS
Innovate Finance Global Summit (IFGS) will return for its 10th year at London’s Guildhall on 15-16 April 2024. The event will welcome the brightest minds from the financial services and fintech ecosystem to discuss and debate crucial issues affecting the sector today. The 2024 agenda will shine a light on the global fintech ecosystem, with an increased focus on the areas where fintech and financial services can pave the way for economic growth, sustainability and financial inclusion.
7. Singapore Fintech Festival
Singapore Fintech Festival sits at the intersection of policy, finance and technology, and is slated to land on 6-8 November 2024. For 2023, over 66,000 participants attended, featuring over 970 speakers and over 700 exhibitors and sponsors. Guided by insights from its Content Advisory Panel of industry experts, SFF showcases strategic perspectives on market trends, emerging technologies and regulatory shifts. Through insightful sessions, roundtables and workshops, SFF is where dialogue on the future trajectories of financial services can be had.
6. MoneyLIVE Summit
MoneyLIVE Summit took place in early March 2024 at the QEII Centre in Westminster, London. FinTech Magazine was in attendance for this one, as fintech leaders took to the stage and set the agenda for payments and banking innovation across the globe. We spoke to Publicis Sapient’s Dave Murphy at the show, on the rise of Gen AI in banking to support customer engagement. “Gen AI is helping by enhancing the way a bank’s employees engage with customers. Improvements include capturing knowledge,” he told us.
“If you’re a relationship manager at a financial management firm and you're looking to improve an investment trading option, Gen AI can help generate packs for customers.”
5. FIMA Europe
For over 15 years, FIMA Europe has been aiding data managers in overcoming their most significant hurdles. Through roundtable talks, workshops, live debates and networking, it fosters interactive discussions and solution sharing among attendees. Slated for 21-22 November 2024, FIMA Europe brings together top investment banks and asset managers to discuss all things data. At FIMA, asset managers can find out how to best adapt data teams, strategies and capabilities and stay ahead of the curve by driving greater business impact and remaining competitive.
4. Money20/20 Europe
Once again slated to take place at the RAI, Amsterdam, Money20/20 Europe is the largest fintech event on the continent, and is set to take place on 4-6 June 2024. A premium content, sales and networking platform for the global money ecosystem, Money20/20 delivers in-depth analytics to inspirational speakers, world-class insights and networking opportunities across the industry. 3. Money20/20 USA
Money20/20 USA is the largest fintech event in North America. Held in Las Vegas, the 2024 iteration is set to take place from October 27-30, housing financial services and fintech leaders from across the global money ecosystem, including banks, payments, tech, startups, retail, fintech, financial services, policy and more. In attendance at Money20/20 USA 2023, we spoke to over 50 industry leading executives, including NVIDIA’s Financial Services Industry Global VP, Malcolm deMayo, on ways Gen AI & LLMs are pioneering new tech in finserv.
