Layer 1 blockchain Sui has announced a landmark collaboration with Revolut to bolster awareness and adoption of blockchain technology among Revolut’s expansive user base.

The deal also opens new avenues for Sui’s growth, particularly across European and Brazilian markets.

The new Learn programme – the product of Revolut and Sui’s collaboration – will be available for Revolut users, and serve as a valuable tool for Sui to educate an untapped global audience of potential future crypto users.

Sui and Revolut: Unlocking crypto users of the future

Leveraging Sui’s underlying technology and rapidly ascending ecosystem, Revolut’s Learn programme will give its customers the opportunity to deepen their understanding of blockchain technology.

Indeed, the hope from both Sui and Revolut is that this tool will help attract a new wave of users eager to explore the possibilities of blockchain technology, but without the know-how to have confidence in taking the first step.

For Sui, the Learn programme aligns closely with its community objective to continue its marked growth trajectory, which has already seen its Total Value Locked (TVL) surpass US$500m. This has helped Sui consolidate its position amid the upper echelons of decentralised finance (DeFi) ecosystems.

Greg Siourounis, Managing Director of the Sui Foundation, says: "This landmark partnership with Revolut represents a significant milestone in the mission to bring Sui’s innovative Web3 technologies to bear solving real-world challenges for new audiences.

"By joining forces with Revolut, we have a chance to introduce millions of users to Sui, the fastest growing ecosystem in crypto, and one which is providing the technological underpinnings that will enable businesses to build working solutions and empowering individuals to access those products and services seamlessly."

For Revolut, the move to equip its users with a deeper blockchain understanding comes a year after it launched its Staking crypto feature, made available on its app to provide users with a more frictionless crypto trading experience.

Its partnership with Sui helps it on its path to scale blockchain-based services to users, enhancing adoption rates for these products.

Kotryna Baldovskaja, Crypto Global Business Development Manager at Revolut adds: "Our collaboration with Sui underscores Revolut’s commitment to providing our users with access to the latest advancements in financial technology.

"By integrating Sui's educational content into our Learn programme, we aim to equip our users with knowledge about one of the most impressive technological breakthroughs we’ve seen in crypto and the countless opportunities that lie within the Sui ecosystem."
